Corners Release Show (with special guest Daedalus)

After two sold-out shows last year, premiering “The Story of Trip-Hop”, an audio/visual performance-based documentary; Keeper and Applied Pressure have joined forces again to debut a live rendition of Keeper’s upcoming EP. The trio’s sophomore release, Corners, explores the balance created by the four main elements found in our natural world - Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Each song on the EP is dedicated to one of these elements and its corresponding influence on the individual, human experience. This album follows Keeper down the rabbit hole into a deeper understanding of the self. Corners is produced by Bird Peterson, who will accompany Keeper and the Applied Pressure Orchestra to perform this record, start to finish, in cinematic fashion. With the help of Alamo Drafthouse’s beautiful screen, the album will be realized for its very first time, as a comprehensive audio/visual experience, paying homage to the elements and feeding our senses.

The guest of honor is none other than Low-End Theory godfather and musician, Daedelus. He contributes his unique sound-collage to this particular evening. In the theme of the night, he is debuting a visual synthesizer in conjunction with Austin’s own “Bleep Labs”, which manipulates the imagery that his music evokes. This is the first time he has performed this way and we are honored to have him share in such an intimate, rare space.
